Richland Minibuses are a family-run private hire and minibus transport business based in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. They operate a fleet of 4-16 seater high-quality vehicles for a wide range of functions. Within this fleet, they have wheelchair accessible vehicles which have grown in size thanks to their new Tribus minibus.
This 75-plate diesel Tribus was an EVM ex-demo with low mileage with a lot more to give. As an 8-seater vehicle, it is M1 rated meaning it can be driven on a regular car license and it features a unique flooring and seat system which makes transport for wheelchair users easy and safe.
The Tribus features folding seats, allowing for multiple seating configurations of between 8-passengers and 4-wheelchair users. It’s TriFlex Air 2.0 floor features a safe system of hooks which ensure wheelchairs are securely held whilst in transport and alerts the driver if they aren’t (click here to watch a video demonstration!).
It’s electric sliding door gives passengers easy access aboard and the rear PLS wheelchair lift is a high-quality point of access and easy to operate for drivers, requiring no lifting or complex instructions. Built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, this vehicle is reliable and features a modern OEM driver interface with a MBUX Multimedia System, Carplay, air conditioning and more. The Tribus is also available in electric and front entry variants.
