Somerset Council has expanded its transport offering with the introduction of new on-demand buses designed to provide flexible, accessible travel across Taunton and Wellington.
The council has added six diesel Cityline minibuses and one electric Cityline vehicle to support its growing Digital Slinky service—an innovative, demand-responsive transport solution for Somerset residents.
EVM UK & Ireland supplied the low-floor, fully accessible minibuses, helping to future-proof local transport services.
The Cityline is a 16-seater low-floor minibus with a strong track record, having been trusted by councils, community groups, and public transport operators for over 12 years. The model is available with both diesel and electric powertrains, giving operators flexibility as they transition toward greener fleets.
